About The Role
Tydo is looking for a dynamic and self-starting Entry Level Marketer to join our mighty marketing team. The Entry Level Marketer will work closely with the Brand & Content Marketing Lead in creating content for social, email, and Tydo’s blog, The Pulse.

The Entry Level Marketer will have a passion for social media (TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn), writing, and DTC/ecommerce. Additionally, they’ll be excited about touching all aspects of marketing at a fast-growing ecommerce company. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy writing, and have an eye for social media trends.

This is a unique opportunity to be a marketing generalist and join one of the best marketing teams in the ecommerce enablement space.

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll work directly with the Brand and Content Marketing Lead and collaborate cross-functionally with Partnerships, Customer Success, Design, Product, and more!

Responsibilities

Own Tydo’s social channels and create a holistic, on-brand social program that engages Tydo’s audience
Create social microcontent and brief designers on more complex types. You will own social content from start to finish.
Partner with Tydo’s Brand & Content Marketing Lead to build out a fully fleshed out content calendar. Manage social channels around important company announcements, products launches, and content drops.

Write engaging, educational content for our blog The Pulse that covers topics such as: data/analytics, ecommerce enablement, and what brand builders/founders need to know.
Learn about SEO and how we can optimize Tydo’s existing content and future content series to reach new audiences.
Assist with Tydo’s email marketing, including briefing our email agency and launching new email campaigns.
Research and identify growth opportunities across new platforms, niche communities, groups, etc. Create and test original social content in various formats including video/audio clips, charts/graphs, diagrams, Twitter threads, etc.

Monitor all inbound messages across Tydo social media channels, responding to questions, engaging with our audience, and amplifying our vision and mission.
Stay up-to-date on social and cultural trends, tools, best practices, and emerging platforms.
Compile key metrics and report weekly on social growth, engagement, and key conversations to the larger marketing team and use those insights to drive Tydo’s larger content strategy.

What You’ll Bring

Passion for DTC/ecommerce, analytics, and SaaS
Stellar communication skills with excellent writing skills. You pay attention to detail, and you have the ability to write in an engaging, informative, and clever tone.
A great sense of humor and willingness to experiment.
Experience using and growing social media channels.

An eye for design. You can speak creative. This means you can brief and provide feedback to designers and creatives. Major plus if you have design experience of your own or know Figma.
You’re a strong analytical thinker that understands there can be a thrilling story found within data and you are excited with the prospect of communicating these stories to sophisticated audiences in creative ways.
A self-starter attitude. You’re excited about working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own priorities and adapting where challenges and opportunities are commonplace. You are enthusiastic about remote work.

You have the ability to get up to speed on a new topic very quickly and you have a deep curiosity and drive to master new subject areas in order to produce work that resonates authentically with the customer. You’re always learning.
You have a profoundly collaborative mindset and approach to work. You recognize that, especially as we continue to define our team structure, roles are somewhat fluid. You are willing to pitch in outside of your direct job description and become an expert in new areas.
You find purpose in community, connecting people with others in a way that fosters learning, positivity and growth, both digitally and IRL. A natural and thoughtful conversation-starter, you have a social IQ beyond your years.
You like the idea of taking a consumer-focused approach to B2B content and you are active and/or up to date on emerging platforms where the DTC operator is active: Twitter, Slack, Discord, Instagram, TikTok and more.

Why this role is unique

Combination of DTC + SaaS – You get the best of both worlds: B2C and B2B. We aren’t your typical SaaS company in that we are catering to people who understand how to market to consumers REALLY well. So we get to be experts in both.

Core to Tydo’s Growth – You’ll be a generalist, assisting across our marketing team to touch all our core marketing initiatives—product, social, content, etc. Your role is key to the success of Tydo at large, and you’ll learn a little bit of everything.

Inside View Of Leading Companies – This role is an interesting way to get an inside view of strategies from leading DTC companies. You will get to learn from leaders, understand trends across the industry, and become a knowledge expert in growing industries like DTC, e-commerce, analytics, performance marketing and machine learning.

Tydo Network – The role will contribute to the Tydo community of tech partners and DTC brands, likely interfacing with some of the coolest founders and operators out there.

Opportunity To Join A Rocket Ship – Tydo’s growing quickly. We’re Series A, and we’re making big moves in Fall 2022 and beyond. Here’s your chance to hop onboard. This is an internship, but within 3-6 months, there’s an opportunity to join the team full-time.
