What will you be doing:

The Regional Associate (“RA”) is a field based position manages an existing book of business and demonstrates same store growth through increased contract utilization and pull through initiatives. The RA is responsible for revenue growth and retention of existing members as well as recruitment and growth of new members. This is accomplished through the development and implementation of effective account management strategies as well as tactical execution of approved sales initiatives.


The RA executes the sales and retention initiatives by engaging the members and offering the full Premier Alternate Site Value Proposition.  These efforts are made primarily through telesales initiatives as well as on sight meetings when necessary. The RA is also responsible for presenting analytical savings outcomes to prospects/members as well as generating and executing the appropriate enrollment forms and documents and forms via Dynamics CRM.


In addition, the RA will act as a liaison between Premier Alternate Site members and support services and is committed to providing the highest level of customer service. The RA also identifies opportunities in the contract offering that are of value to members.  The RA is expected to understand in full detail, vendor contract offerings and rules of engagement, such as launch materials, necessary documentation, class of trade and pricing tiers, and communicate this information to members with the goal of increasing member engagement and savings. This role will also be responsible for the recruitment of new members through cold calling and other forms of lead generation.

This position works in collaboration with the following internal departments in order to refine, interpret, and deliver contracts and ancillary agreements to the RA’s assigned members and/or prospects:

Relevant Experience to include:

Healthcare, Pharmacy or infusion industry experience is strongly preferred
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, matrix environment.
Demonstrated business acumen in the alternate site/non-acute care marketplace.

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $51,000 – $95,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
