About this role

We are seeking a mid-level Full Stack Developer to take on responsibilities in developing and maintaining software components with moderate complexity. This individual will write well-structured code with minimal guidance and create documentation.

In this role, you will be part of an experienced and fast-moving team that owns the front-end interface and back-end aspects of PetDesk’s consumer products. Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, it’s required that you understand the entire software development cycle and can provide accurate estimates, delivering production quality software on time.

Design and build highly-scaled back-end and front-end services for our consumer-facing products
Contribute to the development of our communication products, internal tools, new product development, and touching SLA support issues
Develop web-based solutions for our products that align with roadmap goals, or spearhead the path to achieving seamless cross-platform experiences
Identify and fix issues to improve the scalability, performance, and simplicity of our system and maintain a stable and robust product across the life cycle after launch
Collaborate with a Product Manager on planning, estimates, development, definition of work stories, and rollout
Become a part of a talented team of software developers, working on complex and engaging distributed and microservices system design and implementation challenges


About You

3+ years of experience developing software as a Full Stack engineer (hands-on front-end and back-end)
Strong understanding of React’s library and core principles, including components, state management, and lifecycle methods
Good understanding of modern design patterns
Experience with at least one type of NoSQL and one SQL-based database technology
Exposure to at least one mainstream cloud provider (AWS preferably, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+
Experience with Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core
Experience in implementing SEO practices and analytics tracking using Google Analytics or similar analytics tools is preferred
