Job Summary 

The HR Specialist – People and Culture is responsible for providing human resources support to a designated business unit to create great culture, communication and overall employee happiness. This includes employee engagement activities, performance management program, providing guidance to employees and managers on company policy related matters, conflict resolution, and various other HR operations.


Essential Job Functions

Provide human resources consultation and direct support to a designated group of employees and managers.


Administer organizational processes such as rewards programs, performance management, employee relations and employee engagement
Facilitate employee relations process. Ensures effective and thorough investigations are conducted.
Provide HR policy guidance, and coaching, to employees and managers, ensuring all the employees comply with the HR policies.
Utilize HR process checklists and trackers
Meets with employees for regular connect meetings, stay interviews, and other touch points. Provide data collected to the Senior Executive – People and Culture.
Facilitate events, workshops, and other engagement initiatives in line with the overall Employee Engagement plan


Assists managers with compensation and position change requests, job description creation, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and succession planning.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR Administration team to support the day-to-day people operations
Resolve people and culture tickets for business unit in an accurate and timely manner
Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications  

Must demonstrate a positive, flexible, proactive, and hands-on, can-do approach
A Master’s Degree in human resources or a related field
Minimum 3-4 years of Human Resource management experience or a similar role
Experience effecting positive cultural change
Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources laws in India
Demonstrates positive communication and presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer and phone. A strong internet connection is required (company subsidy available).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based in India. The hours of work are Monday through Friday; 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Occasional daytime and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
