Do you want to Drive Growth and Improve Lives? Accredo, a line of business within The Cigna Group is hiring an Operations Senior Analyst. Experience in Program management with specialty medications is essential as you’ll be the direct point of contact for our external partners, i.e. Reimbursement Hubs and Pharma Manufacturers, and acts as a liaison between those customers and our internal operations teams. The role will also serve as point person for inquiries from Pharma, Account Management, and Product Management.  Additional responsibilities include coordinating workflow, providing backup coverage, program implementation, timely communications / responding to inquiries, resolving escalations, validating HIPAA consent, and facilitating meetings with the client as per contract.


How you’ll make a difference:

  • You’ll act as the operations account management liaison to the drug manufacturing companies and their hubs, building effective stakeholder relationships to answer questions related to processes, and to research issues, concerns and escalations.
  • You’ll be responsible for the overall health of the program and will provide updates on the status and performance for specific specialty products and services.
  • You’ll ensure the business is aware of new requirements with respect to contract amendments or new products or services and assist with creating and implementing those new processes.
  • You’ll Manage program scorecard and disseminate key metrics to internal / external partners, regarding; work in progress, aging, and key metrics for specific specialty drug(s) and assist in expeditiously resolving delays.
  • Identify and track key issue trends – perform root-cause analysis and drive process improvement initiatives
  • You’ll create visually appealing presentations and host meetings with operation leaders, AM, hubs and manufacturers to review metrics, specialty pharmacy performance status, clinical/nonclinical in-services, and QBRs showcasing the value of this role
  • Understand the nuances of how to position Accredo externally in the upmost professional and discreet manner (what to say / not to say)
  • Perform work independently, adapt to a dynamic working environment and be an effective change agent

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • High school or GED, Required, bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in program support, Required
  • 2 + years of experience in Specialty Pharmacy / Medical, strongly preferred
  • Experience with data analytics and metrics, Required
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role, strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of experience managing escalated issues and handling difficult conversations in a cogent and professional manner, Required
  • Experience creating & presenting visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for internal and external business partners, Required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, impeccable time management skills, advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills, Required
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office; (Excel, Word, Outlook, One Note and PowerPoint), Required
  • Experience with concierge level customer service, developing strong relationships and instilling trust with clients, strongly preferred
  • Strategic mindset and strong leadership skills (proactive in identifying needs of customer), Strongly preferred

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 51,200 – 85,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
