Provider Data Representative – Cigna Healthcare – Remote

This production role is an entry-level position in Dental Operations that delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services supporting existing dental network and the contracting teams. Receives requests to add new locations or providers to existing contract arrangements. Coordinates provider enrollment and assists with coordination of meetings with providers or their office staff for training, contracting, and reporting. May be responsible for reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints. Issues tend to be routine in nature. Good knowledge and understanding of Provider Data and business/operating processes and procedures. Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Receiving, opening, assessing, and data entry of incoming mail, email and fax
  • Outreach to providers or office staff to obtain missing or additional information to ensure applications and contracts meet compliance
  • Pull together new applications and contracting packets as needed, ensuring compliance
  • Collaborate with internal departments as needed to fulfill incoming mail requests
  • Clerical work that includes creating new records or maintaining proper data in contact management system
  • Maintain positive relationships with health care professionals and their office staff extending quality service

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 – 28 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
