Chart’s Cryo-Lease mission is to become the industry leader in leasing Chart’s highly engineered cryogenic equipment across the globe. This position will assist the Leasing team manage the asset shipments from New Production locations, Chart PRS facilities and deployments to and from customer sites. The rapid expansion of the Global Leasing program has created the need for a dedicated Logistics Specialist and comes with opportunities for advancement in the future.


What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for building and fostering a relationship between customers, Chart facilities and Cryo-Lease. It is the responsibility of this position to act as key liaison between the Operating Lease Team and/or customers and the many functional areas involved in the asset life cycle. This role will assist in managing the equipment movement from new production through asset completion and throughout the lease term, including preventative maintenance at the repair facility, to deployment back to the customer. This position must ensure that all problems relating to the successful lease and shipment are resolved, and that proper communication and reporting, internally and externally, are provided.


Essential Duties & Responsibility
• Taking and maintaining a proactive approach on all leases to meet the customer’s needs. Review shipment activity using various reports and take the necessary action to ensure assets are being shipped complete and on time.
• Coordinate, plan, and maintain shipments on upcoming lease term completions, maintenance turnarounds, and ensure all internal team departments are aware of any requirements and/or changes to ensure all shipments are executed to the highest standard.
• Follow up on shipments to ensure its on-time delivery and quality of equipment received. Communicate shortfalls immediately.


• On Call Availability for emergency situations.
• Investigates shipment discrepancy inquiries from customers; possesses the authorization to request Proof of Deliveries, and forward to customers. Assist with resolving billing errors and shipment discrepancies.
• Act as a key liaison with: (1) The Operating Lease Team – To resolve customer service issues; (2) To resolve vendor freight invoice issues; (3) Distribution Planning – Communicate and follow up when units are nearing lease completion to ensure proper handling and scheduling of those assets.
• Work with the lease team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and solve any problems or issues presented.
• Obtain and consistently update product knowledge.


• Create and build direct relationships within internal departments to ensure information is being provided on a timely basis. Communicate with Operations/ Production regarding status on product availability and/or product issues. Communicate special adjustments/ needs for upcoming turnarounds.
• Utilizes technology to create and return customer data and records.
• Effectively communicate status updates utilizing video, mobile devise, text, email or in person as needs dictate.
• Maintains the shipment log.
• Work closely with leasing coordinator, providing information updates for the facility trackers.
• Handles and resolves inquiries from customers regarding order status and general product information, including keeping up to date with on-site contact.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position.

Although this position will not have responsibility for direct reports, the position requires active leadership in the way of supporting strategic initiatives as well as active personal development. Other duties may be assigned.


Your Education Should Be…
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HSED) required. Post high school education is preferred.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
This is a remote position and will require frequent and sometimes extended periods of sitting/standing, typing, talking, screen viewing and hearing.
Reside in the Eastern Standard Time zone (EST) or the Central Standard Time zone(CST)
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
• Previous work experience in customer service, sales, training, member retention or relevant work experience is required. Industry experience or any other service-related industry experience is highly desired.


• Ability to quickly learn complex program and product knowledge, work on a PC, accessing and navigating multiple software applications in a Windows environment while talking to the customer on the phone. Beginner to Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite, primarily in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is desired. Keying data entry efficiently and accurately with proficiency in typing/keyboard is required. Polished phone demeanor, tone and etiquette is required.
• JDE experience preferred.
