We currently have an opening for an Accounting Operations Specialist. This is a remote position.

About the position: 

Operations Specialists are expected to:

Analyze and process routine and non-routine confidential correspondence for client portfolio transactions (including capital calls, cash and stock distributions)
Monitor general correspondence received through email (including logging, printing and distribution of correspondence to appropriate departments, servers and files)
Communicate wire instructions to funds and clients upon request
Initiate wires via on-line banking system
Other duties and special projects, as assigned

Qualifications 

AA Degree in a business-related subject matter
Minimum of two years of experience working full time in a bookkeeping or closely related position.
Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate mathematical skills
Ability to establish appropriate priorities, work on multiple projects concurrently and meet inflexible deadlines
Ability to work independently in completing a variety of confidential, administrative tasks
Ability to interpret and apply judgment to tasks based on broad policies and procedures
Acute attention to accuracy and detail
Willingness and ability to learn new computer skills and software
