Content Writer (Remote Opportunity)

Location: Remote, must be in the US
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $33 – 38 per hour

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our client’s Brand, Marketing, and Communications (BMC) team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling promotional marketing content. The ideal candidate is a creative communicator with a strong grasp of marketing principles and has exceptional writing skills.

 
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging promotional content across various channels, including email campaigns, social media, website, and print materials.
• Craft clear, concise, and persuasive marketing copy that aligns with the brand’s messaging and target audience.
• Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging throughout all promotional materials.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, suggesting improvements based on data insights.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and promotions.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of proven experience in crafting marketing content across different mediums.
• Preferred writing and content creation experience in the nonprofit space, especially focused on gender equality and/or women’s financial inclusion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively across departments.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
