Summary of Position: Enrollment Advisors will be part of an elite team of top-notch professionals who interact with qualified prospects and students by telephone and email. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively with an ambitious client base. This is a full-time, inside sales position for Princeton Review test preparation, academic prep, and admissions services.
Major Responsibilities:
- Consult by phone and email with students and parents who seek assistance with standardized test preparation, admissions counseling, and academic support.
- Using a consultative approach, provide great advice, support, and follow-up to prospective students and their parents to ensure that they choose The Princeton Review to get the results they seek and achieve their goals.
- Skillfully and professionally probe for the customer’s specific educational needs and provide the right solutions from our broad range of courses, products, and services.
- Form lasting relationships with prospective students and families in order to provide students with trusted support across the entire admissions experience while also building a pipeline of opportunity to meet organization sales goals.
- Communicate and apply company-wide strategy, initiatives, and programs.
- Support other initiatives and assist in the delivery of excellent enrolled student service.
- Track activity in a complete and timely manner using various systems, including salesforce.com.
- Other duties as assigned.
Background, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least one year of professional experience in direct-to-consumer sales. This experience can include part-time positions or internships and can be from any industry.
- Friendly and enthusiastic personality with the ability to quickly develop trust, rapport, and strong relationships.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly with the drive to perform up to set standards and exceed expectations.
- A highly competitive nature with demonstrated success exceeding sales goals.
- Outstanding telephone and/or written chat skills with expertise in effective listening, communication, probing, and problem resolution.
- Above-average computer skills. Experience with salesforce.com a plus
- No qualms starting conversations with people you don’t know
- Ability to manage your own time and work remotely from your manager, teammates, and clients
- An ethic of personal responsibility; a need to hold yourself accountable on behalf of a team
- Experience in test preparation, academic support, or admissions a plus
- Able to have multiple written chat conversations at one time
- Available to work 2 to 10 PM EST, and some weekends(time vary)
Salary: $15.17 – $18.80 per hour, plus commission
