Fermata Energy is pioneering vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems. Our technology uses the battery capacity in parked electric vehicles (EVs) to provide services that make the electric grid run more efficiently and save customers money on their electric bills.
We’re at an inflection point in history with electric utilities using more green energy (wind and solar) and vehicle manufacturers projecting the rapid transition of all internal combustion vehicle sales to all electric over the next decade. Utilities need grid scale energy storage to smooth out intermittent generation and manage peak load. Parked EV batteries are the energy storage asset best positioned to provide the massive amount of energy storage required. Fermata is the company with V2G sites up and running now, saving customers money now and working to scale up deployments as fast as possible.
We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to help support the growth of our company through performance of a wide variety of responsibilities within the Office of the CEO. Reporting to our Director of Special Projects, you will assist with corporate matters, matters related to efforts directed towards the Board of Directors, and will generally provide overall administrative support to members of the CSuite. You will utilize your project management, technical, and administrative skills to ensure smooth daily administration of our remote-first organization. Examples of what you’ll do:
- Assist Director of Special Projects with administrative tasks, preparation of Board Meetings, organization of the Office of the CEO
- Assist CSuite members with administrative tasks that will assist them with their daily functions such as tracking expenses, preparing expense reports, completing credit card reconciliations, calendar management and maintenance
- Assist with company-wide event planning initiatives
- Develop and maintain department organizational tools such as charts, spreadsheets, and reports
- Support other functional areas and members of the organization with special projects as instructed.
Need to Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year program
- Three plus years of corporate administrative assistance support experience obtained from small to medium sized companies (start-up experience a plus!)
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft and Google products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High tolerance for ambiguity, changing work priorities and deadlines, and ability to prioritize work while working simultaneously on multiple projects
