Overview
Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; and advising managers.
Responsibilities
Partner with Operations to create and implement a talent acquisition strategy for identifying internal and external talent.
Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, internet sites; providing organizational information, opportunities; benefits and maintain rapport.
Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, and using job sites.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants and consistent set of qualifications.
Manage and administer application process including: screening, paperwork, relevant testing, reference checking, background/credit checks, company systems, and recordkeeping, in compliance with EEO standards and company expectations.
Complete and accurately maintain required recruiting reports.
Administer inventory/orders related to recruitment advertising, testing tools, and other resources utilized for recruiting purposes.
Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers
Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
Perform additional duties as required by management from time to time
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma/GED
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years related experience
Computer Skills:
Employees must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of candidate selection method
Deep understanding of recruitment processes
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate database.
Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
Effective influencing and communication skills
Integrity and confidentiality
Must be a self-starter
Ability to work with others
Manage time effectively
Solve problems or issues that may come up
Concentrate and focus for extended periods of time
Cope with high-stress and changing environment
Remain alert at all times
Adhere to policies and procedures
Adhere to work schedule and punctuality requirements
