Security Sales Specialist, Google Cloud Public Sector (Remote Jobs Hiring/Work from Home)

Minimum qualifications:
15 years of experience managing technical projects within the security and compliance domains in Financial Services, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Telecommunications, Public Sector, or Energy, including experience leading strategy or modernization projects.
Public or Private Sector cyber security experience.
Experience with audit, compliance, risk, and security methodologies and best practices.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience applying technology to solve business problems.
Understanding of microservices, kubernetes, containers, modern app development, and modern cloud operations.
Knowledge of the Public Sector cybersecurity landscape.
Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and manage talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT/Security technology space.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to deliver a professional business and technical pitch to the C-Suite and Board levels.

Responsibilities
Partner with public sector customers and partners as their most trusted Google security and compliance advisor, identifying cloud related security and compliance design/development/deployment friction points from the customers’ perspective and rally teams to work through solutions.
Work with customers and partners to define joint initiatives and co-create their cloud security and compliance transformation journey, collaborating across functional and product areas to bring the best of Google to the customer.
Advocate for the innovation of Google security and compliance and help translate it into actionable steps global companies can take towards adoption. Act as a mentor and leader to the wider Google Cloud security and compliance professionals.
Create value and volume security, campaigns, programs, and solutions.
