About the Role
You’ll join us for a part-time, contract – working flexible hours but approximately 16 hours per week and supporting our team remotely.
It is a very exciting time in Xero’s North American Region! While Xero is a household name for Small Businesses in Xero’s Southern Hemisphere regions, the US and Canada Regions are banding together to make a play at growing our presence in this market, and part of this includes growing through referral and affiliate partners. With quite a few contracts already in place with Channel Partners, and more on the way; it is important for us to continue to scale our partner acquisition efforts, while also continuing to maintain and support the partners who are already working with us.
A few key areas that we will impact together are;
– Performing contractual obligations with live partners to ensure they get what they need in order to be successful;
– Track, manage, and share data across all live partners to help the region work better with Channel Partners;
– Provide the support needed to continue our scaling efforts in Partner Acquisition
What You’ll Do
You will own administration of our affiliate program – which will mean accurate data maintenance and backend management of our system. Think: qualifying partner applications, manually creating ‘account’ and ‘contact’ records in Salesforce for new Affiliates, managing the weekly import/export CSV process, aggregating performance data from Partnerstack into other systems, and being the first line of defense to all Affiliate inquiries to Xero.
You will take care of tracking our referral contract administration. You will help us meet our reporting and administrative obligations, including: weekly performance tracking and reporting across multiple Xero system, logging tasks and correspondents with partners in Salesforce, sending approved reports to partners per contractual cadence, expediting the invoice and accounts payable process for Xero to pay partners, and aggregating performance data across all Referral partners across multiple Xero systems.
You will also support with internal reporting and presenting. On regular cadences, the Partnerships team will report back to Xero’s leadership teams on both aggregate, and specific partner performance(s). You will support our team’s presentations by providing the system reporting and data collection (from Xero systems and from appropriate external partners), and auditing our master data records regularly to ensure accuracy of reporting.
You are:
Proficient in G-Suite (Gmail, G-sheets, G-slides)
Have a little experience using Salesforce or another CRM ( some minimal understanding useful, but training can be provided if you do not have this skill)
Attention to detail in data entry and when reading detailed documents
Organized and communicative
What You’ll Bring With You – Experience
Proven experience to manage to administrative timelines
Transferable experience in administration, as an executive assistant, coordinator, in project coordination or within similar function
This is a part-time, paid position, for 16 hours per week.
The role can be performed remotely from any state that Xero is registered in for payroll (applicable states are provided in the questions below).
