ALTOUR is seeking an experienced ticketing agent to perform quality and commission checks for reservations booked in Worldspan, Sabre and Apollo.

***This position can work from home in most states, however, this position cannot be completed in the state of Colorado.***


Schedule: 2nd shift, including one weekend shift.
Responsibilities
Assists in answering questions about ticketing to include exchange reservations and split ticket opportunities.


Stays abreast of airline regulations, policies regarding commissions, fare structures, rules for changes and refunds.
Maintains the exchange and void cues for some in-plant offices. Check to ensure that voids and exchanges are accurately completed, and commission taken where applicable.
Runs and reviews duplicate ticket report daily.


Monitors ALTOUR commission report documents and updates.
Continuous monitoring of team email for agent support, accounting issues, etc.
Projects a favorable image of ALTOUR to all travelers, suppliers, and vendors.
Follows company procedures, guidelines, and standards in the areas of customer service, ticketing, attendance, accuracy of work, etc.


Performs other duties as required or requested.
Provides ticketing and GDS support to corporate, leisure, and independent agents.
Will be required to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility in schedule required.


Qualifications
Skills/Experience Required:

5 years minimum Corporate Reservations experience preferred but not required.
3 years minimum working in at least one GDS systems required (Worldspan and Sabre preferred).
2 years minimum working in the Apollo GDS system (preferred but not required).
3 years minimum recent experience with ticketing and processing exchanges.


Detail oriented, work well in a fast-paced environment and have excellent multi-tasking abilities.
Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Must be motivated, possess a positive attitude, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently.


Physical Requirements:

Occasional travel may be required.
Sedentary work. Exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/ or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.


Job requires employee to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
Repetitive motion, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/ or fingers.
Typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers.
Must be able to comprehend instructions, interpret documents, and apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks.


Ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond, analyze information, and write reports, comprehend complex issues, and communicate effectively to diverse groups.
Job requires employee to perform basic arithmetic accurately and compute rates and percentages. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally (verbally and in writing) as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
