Job Description
Department: Tax

Reports to: Tax Manager

The Tax Clerk is a key part of the tax team.  The Tax Clerk is responsible for making sure all daily mail and correspondence is routed to the appropriate Tax Analyst.  This person is also responsible for data entry into various templates as well as other clerical responsibilities that may arise.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Quickly sort daily mail received
Enter data into spreadsheets for rates, QCRs, etc. as needed
Perform various filing functions
Correspond with various clients or state unemployment agencies as needed

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:

Ability to sort alphabetically and numerically
Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to multitask and evolve with a changing, seasonal workflow
10 key touch data entry preferred

Computer Skills:

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, particularly with a strong emphasis on excel
10 key touch data entry preferred
