Accounts Payable Coordinator – Entry Level (Non Phone Work from Home Jobs)

Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for supporting the Company’s purchase-to-pay (“P2P”) cycle to include assisting the AP Tower Lead with processing invoices, monitoring the AP subsystem, preparing accounts payable reconciliations and working with the Company’s T&E system, Concur.

MAIN DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:

Accounts Payable 70%

The AP Coordinator will be responsible for:

Supporting the AP Tower Lead in all functions related to the P2P process of the consolidated Company
Resolve invoice exception errors
Execute pay runs – checks, ACH and wire transfers
Assist in the compilation of accounts payables metrics and reports (agings, late payments, etc…)
Procurement (20%)

Assist the Shared Services manager in developing a Company-wide Procurement policy
On-board vendors via the Company’s process
Time & Expense (10%)

Assist the Shared Services Manager in revamping the Company’s T&E policy
Approving T&E for all employees from an accounting perspective
Prepare T&E metrics for reporting to C-suite executives

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: 

Management Skills:

Teamwork – must be able to work with various operating groups, both internally and externally.
Communication Skills – must present themselves in a professional manner and communicate regularly with executives in multiple divisions as well as outside the company
Demonstrated flexibility – must be able to juggle various projects and be willing to change projects as needed

High Energy and Commitment – must display a positive, confident assertive personality and be able to work on projects until completion.
Detail Oriented – must have the patience to read walkthroughs for various processes and make recommendations.

Technical/Functional Competencies:

Experience in accounts payable process
Basic understanding of Sales and Use Tax
Previous experience with Concur T&E Reporting tool
Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.

The individual in this position must be a self-starter, be organized, have a sense of urgency and a dedicated team player.
